Blogging from Budapest

Tuesday, 22 July 2014

I am currently on my summer adventures to Hungary, Serbia and Montenegro so for the next three weeks I am going to attempt to blog using my iPhone blogger app, so here goes!

Having just arrived in a very rainy Budapest this post doesn't quite feel right, however I was super lucky to have an amazing delivery from Beach Cafe just before I left on my travels. This gorgeous Seafolly bikini has been on my wish list for a while and having pranced around my bedroom trying it on I can honestly say it is gorgeous, and the fit is amazing!

I can't wait to share it with you all during my trip, but for now I hope this post works and if you fancy grabbing this great bikini head over to Beach Cafe

P.s links to follow when near a proper computer but for now check out my previous post about Beach Cafe for a direct link or give them a google!!

Paper Thin loves ... LemLem

Thursday, 17 July 2014

This past week I was lucky to do some work with Beach Cafe and whilst pulling together my swimwear post the other day I came across an amazing new brand stocked on Beach Cafe called LemLem.

The whole range is made of hand woven Ethiopian cloth, and it is stunning.

I really love a brand that has a great ethos and LemLem has that but it also has a fresh, clean aesthetic and gorgeous colour combinations - I just love the Lilly split cover up in orange, as well as everything else featured below!

If you love LemLem as much as I do then check out the range stocked at Beach Cafe

Rookie Fair

Wednesday, 16 July 2014

I love it when someone follows you on twitter and what they are doing is perfect aligned to the things you love - and it is much better than some of the random followers I get it who clearly do not read my blog or my tweets!

So this week I came across Rookie Fair - in their own words they are 'an online pop-up shop with limited edition designers'. But they are much more than that. They are sourcing four stunning brands each week, which stay as a pop-up for seven days after which they have a new set of four designers for you to choose from. I just love the concept - and I haven't yet come across one of the weeks where I haven't liked one or more of what was on offer.

This week sees two great new designers. Tombag is an amazing range of marine style kit bags that come in a variety of colours and sizes - the banoffee waxed cotton version below is a personal favourite, and is stocked on Rookie Fair for £75 with free next day delivery. Perfect for festivals, and I just love the name.

The other designer that caught my eye was Fotouhi which is a print t-shirt brand that makes 100 of each print. Since I am focused on all things summer this week, as I am holiday bound on Tuesday, these are ideal t-shirts to showcase a tan with a pair of denim cut offs - oh and their lookbook is pretty dreamy! Prices start from £18 on Rookie Fair

Finders Keepers

Monday, 14 July 2014

I was doing some blog twitter promotion today when LMA (love my apparel) tweeted me to check out their swimwear - which I did - but whilst browsing what else was on offer I came across Finders Keepers, and I have been a little bit in love with this label for a while.

I am a sucker for simple lines and great prints so this label ticks all the boxes, and with a great discount sale I think a little summer treat might be in order!!

Check out my key pieces below.

Feeling tropical

Sunday, 13 July 2014

I am nine days away from my summer travels so my focus is entirely on beach wear and more importantly swimwear - so I was super happy this week to be contacted by Beach Cafe. They are an online site that specialises in designer swimwear and they stock one of my favourite brands Seafolly which create some amazing pieces!

I thought I would share with you my top 5 picks from their site - so if you are wondering what brands to purchase to make you look great on the beach this summer then look no further than this one stop shop!

Loving Maria Lau

Monday, 7 July 2014

I am a big fan of finding new designers, and I have been looking for a new accessories designer for a while. So whilst doing some blog research last night using a very slow loading internet (roll on Wednesday when I am back fully connected!) I came across the amazing Maria Lau.

Being a girl who doesn't like to over accessorise, and likes to have some key pieces each season that I can throw on with my day uniform (jeans and a quality t-shirt) to make it look chic and like I have made a serious effort in without putting much effort in at all - this collection is ideal!

I am completely drawn to the hematine pieces as well as the amazing Earth Black necklace which combines lava, pyrite and braided nylon - it is the perfect accessory to a simple black triangle bikini!

New Abode // New Blog

Monday, 7 July 2014

So I have been off the radar for the past couple of weeks with some serious intermittent blogging due to a lack of actual internet and having to survive through dongle internet alone - it has been tough! Moving to a new abode is never the easiest of tasks, and with the help that George provides it makes it even harder - what can I say the cat loves Vogue!

Since I am now all unpacked (or there abouts) I thought what better way to launch a new chapter in my life than to give Paper Thin a little make over - after all a little update every once in a while never hurt anyone.

I am probably the worst blogger when it comes to coding and creating blog templates, so I thought I would search the internet and see what I could find. Now I am pretty picky, so was completely surprised when I fell in love almost instantly with this amazing design from Mlekoshi Playground it is perfect, and I hope you love it as much as I do.
