Friday, 18 July 2014

Grey isn't the immediate colour that springs to mind when you think of your summer wardrobe, but this colour edit is about to change your mind.

Texture

Wednesday, 23 April 2014

As you will know I am loving the boyfriend short, and these ones from Topshop are an amazing colour with a textured weave that gives them a more tailored feel. The Warehouse croc effect cropped shirt is a fresh summer wardrobe staple and is going straight onto my payday purchases list. Markus Lupfer has produced the bomber of the season with this patchwork flower version, it is beyond perfection. Then there are the Wangs, oh the Wangs! First of all they are 60% off on The Outnet, and that is reason enough to purchase them, but they also glow in the dark and are a perspex and rubber dream!

Into the fold

Sunday, 16 March 2014

Pleats are everywhere, and before you think about school pinafores or bad 80s ensembles, think again. Pleats are sexy. The midriff is out, skirts are full, volume is your friend, the look plays to all of your positives and it hides everything else! So what are you waiting for, get into the fold.

Game. Set. Match

Sunday, 16 February 2014

I am in L.O.V.E with this grey co-ordinate set from Warehouse, it is perfect for spring and the cut is great. It is top of my pay day wish list, with nothing else coming close! I have styled it with this amazing Alexander Wang t-shirt, McQ flats and this stand out statement necklace from Zara.

Bring on spring!

Weekend chores

Saturday, 25 January 2014

Weekends are always extremely busy, having a full time job, as well as being a blogger means I have to cram in outfit posts, weekend chores, catching up with friends and everything in between. I therefore like an outfit that can see me through the day and would look great and not out of place no matter what I am doing.

I love this look, it is a kind of quirky/preppy, and would all day long. The flats are great practical and chic, as is the clear tote. I am all about layers at this time of year, and whilst I wouldn't want to hide the equipment shirt for one second as the print is amazing, having something oversized that I can throw on whilst running errands is ideal. Finally the shorts and shirt work perfectly for drinks with friends.

The perfect outfit to take you through a very busy Saturday!

Autumn Fix: Knitwear

Friday, 1 November 2013

Knitwear is probably my favourite thing about Autumn. I love nothing more than throwing on my favourite jeans, snuggling up in cosy knits and a nice cup of peppermint tea.

In bloom

Wednesday, 24 July 2013

Sorry for radio silence this past week, I was lucky enough to get a guest weekend pass to Latitude festival (which was amazing) so blogging had to take a back seat for the long weekend. However I am now back and fully recuperated!

Since being in a field for the past week I thought I would go to the opposite end of the scale and share with you my current go to look for my work uniform. I was never really a trousers girl, but as I get older they are becoming a true wardrobe staple for me. I love these ones from River Island they are the perfect carry over from summer to winter as they have a gloomy look to the bloom. I then keep everything else simple, and let the statement piece speak for itself.
