I love the new boy short for this season, they are a great day to day length, and I like the masculine edge to them. I have kept the colour palette quite feminine, mainly because I am addicted to the array of blushes and pastels that are everywhere at the moment. However, don't be afraid to mix in some black/grey when working with these colours, as it gives a great contrast, and enables you to pull out some wardrobe staples!

Hot Pink Monday

Mondays. I am always divided on a Monday, falling into one of two camps. One, it is a fresh start so make the most of it. Two, the weekend ended too quickly and my bed is really hard to vacate! This week feels like I am going to fall into the former, so that is a good thing.

However what always make my day a little bit better no matter what Monday mood I am in, is my ensemble. Mondays tend to be causal, I have normally been dressed up over the weekend so slouchy basics is what I turn to, and this outfit is perfect.

I am in love with it all, the pink Nike trainers are on my trainer wish list (currently this is an extensive list being a Londoner and all) These Helmut Lang boyfriend jeans are amazing, and I love the pocket detail. The Equipment sweater in grey is never going to be wrong. Finally I have been searching for some great headphones for a while and Urbanears have ended my search. They come in a variety of colours, retail at less than £40 and amazingly all the fabric elements can go in the washer, perfect!

We all know monochrome is going to be big for spring/summer and this Tibi dress is ticking all the boxes for me, it is perfection. Plus I am a sucker for anything with a dropped waist!

Keeping it simple

There are days when I love a great dress, something you can just throw on and it looks great with minimal effort. I think I have found my solution with this dress from River Island, I love the colour and a simple dress is just what spring called for. Styled with wardrobe staples from Topshop and Office (the shoes are epic).

For accessories I have gone with Whistles and Borders and Frontiers. Regular readers will know I am a fan of jewellery from Whistles and so far their new season is not disappointing me. I am also loving this tote from Borders and Frontiers, they are currently stocked on ASOS however you can do private orders through their Facebook page. Having just purchased my Christmas tree today, I am feeling very Christmassy but to be honest it doesn't take much. I love Christmas and I really love stocking fillers, they are great little treats and some times you get amazing presents for an unexpected price. So I have trawled the internet for my favourite stocking filler picks all for £5 or less.

Facing facts.

As I sit here on a pretty gloomy Sunday afternoon, I have decided to face facts and admit that winter is well and truly on its way. With that in mind I thought I would pull together an outfit that combines my perfect winter purchases.

Hats are big in my wardrobe but mainly of the bobble variety kind, however this fedora by ASOS is making me swoon.

As most of you may have figured out I love knitwear and no one has done it better this season than Whistles, I think this is the third appearance on Paper Thin from their range and I doubt it will be the last.

Leather is a staple in my wardrobe, but I think if I owned these Joseph leggings I am not sure I would ever take them off. They would be my go to item every day. I have a similar pair from Topshop but these really are the next level.

Boots, you can't get through the winter months without them, and I really like the edge they give to my more girly outfits. These from Zara are on my Christmas wish list, but may have to be promoted to my just got paid list next week as I am not sure I can wait any longer!

Finally I am not really a girl who wears a large amount of jewellery, normally one great piece is enough for me. This brass ring from People Tree is perfect, I already own a fair trade brass ring which I love and I always get compliments when I wear it, so it looks as if this will be joining my small but perfectly formed jewellery collection.

So there it is my winter wish list in one look, hope you love it as much as I do.
