I went out for lunch today in Windsor, so knew I would be wandering about being a little touristy. So I thought this Topshop tshirt dress would be perfect, simple and easy to just throw on. I wore it with a chunky fisherman cardigan and my navy pea coat from Zara.

The weekly review 004

Friday seems to be coming round rather quickly of late, maybe it is me trying to make Spring hurry up so I can wear half of my wardrobe once more and a few new items I am waiting to blog about!

Inspiration | This week I have been making major life plans, and this has included planning my Summer jaunt with the BF, I love to travel so have been adding ideas to Pinterest, even if half of them are on the 10 year bucket list rather than the 1 year one, who cares?! Purchase of the week | Well this is isn't completely true, it is my would be purchase of the week if they did my postcode! The Colour Edit | Orange

The colour edit is here once again, and I am really glad you liked the placid blue collection from a couple of weeks ago. Today's choice is a little more daring, but since I am having some Summer flashbacks I thought why not brighten up your winter morning. So orange it is!

Also I am aware that the Bec and Bridge dress isn't completely orange but it is amazing, so it made the cut!

Hot Pink Monday

Mondays. I am always divided on a Monday, falling into one of two camps. One, it is a fresh start so make the most of it. Two, the weekend ended too quickly and my bed is really hard to vacate! This week feels like I am going to fall into the former, so that is a good thing.

However what always make my day a little bit better no matter what Monday mood I am in, is my ensemble. Mondays tend to be causal, I have normally been dressed up over the weekend so slouchy basics is what I turn to, and this outfit is perfect.

I am in love with it all, the pink Nike trainers are on my trainer wish list (currently this is an extensive list being a Londoner and all) These Helmut Lang boyfriend jeans are amazing, and I love the pocket detail. The Equipment sweater in grey is never going to be wrong. Finally I have been searching for some great headphones for a while and Urbanears have ended my search. They come in a variety of colours, retail at less than £40 and amazingly all the fabric elements can go in the washer, perfect!

Laid back lux

Sundays are for relaxing, and my outfit choices normally reflect this. Unstructured, classic pieces with basic accessories is what it is about, perfect for roaming around London, sipping coffee and taking in the city. (My plan for today!)

With that in mind, there is nothing that says laid back luxury better than the perfect shirt dress. Add to that great accessories, with a nod to Valentines through the perforated hearts on the clutch and you are ready to go.
