Botanica Home

Thursday, 12 February 2015

I love industrial concrete in the home, so it was without a doubt that I was going to love Botanica Home. The Glasgow based Etsy brand ticks all the boxes for me; industrial, geometrical, colourful ... tick, tick, tick.

The candle holders above are amazing, and the plant pots below are on my spring/summer wish list.

Paper Thin Loves ... May

Sunday, 1 February 2015

As some of you may have guessed I have an affinity towards Australian brands, so I was super happy when I came across May on a miserable Saturday afternoon scouring the internet in East London. This brand is just amazing. Their current collection, Happy Hour, has contemporary silhouettes, a great colour palette and the perfect print for S/S 15. I am sold.

So all you have to do now is cheak out their website (which ships internationally) and look out for a whole lot more of May in future posts.

Bean and Bailey

Friday, 23 January 2015

I am always browsing the internet looking for new brands so this morning whilst doing some searches on Etsy I came across Bean and Bailey. After falling in love with their ceramic geometric bowls, I headed over the their site to look at the rest of their wares.

What I found was an amazing collection of pastel ceramics, the bowls are all stunning and the hanging planters are a must have. I also love the fact that everything is under £40!

But don't take my word for it go check them out for yourself, as this American duo are doing some great things.

Paper Thin Loves ... Zanzan

Thursday, 22 January 2015

I was first introduced to Zanzan eyewear during the Paper Mache Tiger press day and I fell in love. The brand is utterly unique, has amazing acetate frames and in their own words have set out ‘to drag sunglasses out of the opticians and onto the catwalk’ - and they have succeeded.

Being worn by the likes of Laura Bailey, Alexa Chung and Olivia Palermo, their devotees read like my perfect style icon list. Add to that they have some amazing January offers, means now is the time to stock up on some serious eyewear before the summer begins.

Fabletics

Wednesday, 21 January 2015

OK so I am a big Kate Hudson fan, so it was a given that I was going to love her Fabletics range, but I didn't realise how much I would love it.

Whilst doing my morning commute across London, I tend to catch up on emails, check on social media and generally get ready for the day. So I thought I would check out the new Fabletics range (having received an amazing offer to get my first outfit for £22 it would be rude not to). The best thing about the site before I had even looked at any sportswear was the amazing quick fit quiz, I answered a series of really simple questions and then this resulted in a set of outfits being chosen for me as my ideal picks (and surprisingly it worked, I loved them all). I really love a site when it is tailored to you as an individual, it was also super useful as my BF is wanting us to go to yoga, and that not being my exercise of choice has meant I had no idea what to purchase and the quick quiz pulled up some amazing yoga outfits with ease. Also let's be honest no one wants to the new girl at a class with no idea what to wear as well as no idea what you are letting yourself in for.

I fell in love with  two outfits as above, the amazing Wild (top below), who knew sportswear could look this good and the super practical Ray (bottom below) I know I would wear these pieces all of the time and are a set of great basics from the collection. With the current offer the whole Wild outfit retails at under £40, and the whole Ray outfit under £30 - so what are you waiting for go check out the site and see what outfits it picks out for you.

Jumbled

Wednesday, 14 January 2015

I came across Jumbled whilst browsing Instagram, and I am in love. I love Australian fashion brands, so it makes sense that I would love their homeware brands too.

My house is pretty eclectic and I don't have an obvious colour scheme but there is some sense behind it all. I don't really like everything matchy matchy, and I am all about vibrant colours and contrasting pieces, basically if there was a shop that I feel I could purchase my entire contents of my abode from it would be Jumbled!

Their brand choices are amazing, the colour palette and mix of styles means that no matter what your aesthetic you will find something that works for you and best of all they ship internationally.

Some of my favourite picks are below, but you need to checkout their website in its entirety and that will require a cup of tea and at least an hour!

1. Zula Cushion, Neon Vintage

2. Morrocan Eye Bedhead, Mexsii

3. Malmo Bar Stool: Mint, Middle of Nowhere

4. Resin Pinch Bowl: Pink Silver Glitter, Pirdy

5. Tea Towel: Flamingo, Canvas Home
