I am sat at home dreaming about my holiday whilst in the midst of moving house - not an ideal situation! So I thought what better way to relieve myself from the stress, than to pull together the perfect poolside outfit.

Out and about.

There are days when practicality needs to rule my fashion choices and I need an outfit I can throw on quickly, look great and go about the days to do list (and normally that list is pretty long!)

The dress is from Mango and is the perfect solution, it is on trend and looks amazing. Add a layer with a denim shirt and you are good to go, this one from Acne is am amazing investment piece and would work with pretty much everything.

Flats are a must on hectic days, these Zara ones are my ideal. They are completely practical but would challenge some of my heels on occasion! I have finished the look with an oversized shopper as on days like this I tend to carry my whole life round with me, and pick up some bits on the way hehe.

P.s. I am a girl who always carries an oversized knit in my bag at all times, so if you need an additional layer as the weather starts to chill this would be the perfect solution.

Off duty

I like to make sure that I am comfy on my days off and Acne is a label that does off duty really well. The simplicity of this denim shirt has put it straight to the top of my lust list. Teamed with the jumper and the mom jeans which I would wear rolled up, showing off my ankle socks, this look is perfect for running errands on a busy weekend. I also love to mix my denim up, and never shy away from double denim. Finally the Burberry bag tops off the look, and if that is a little out of your price range (I am sure that applies to most of us) the ASOS rucksack I featured on an earlier post would be a great substitute. Festival dressing 101

So this weekend is Glastonbury and although I am not fortunate enough to be going this year,  I am planning on attending a few of the smaller festivals throughout the summer. My key to festival dressing is planning and layers (I like to make sure I am covered for every eventuality) and as us Brits know, you can never depend on the weather to do what it is supposed to throughout our summers.

So below is my staple go to look for festivals. These Acne boots are just amazing and are on my current wish list and no festival wardrobe is complete without a staple wax jacket and no one does waxes like Barbour. They are the original and the best!
