Inspiration | As we roll out of winter and head towards spring, my inspiration has come from the changing seasons this week. After all everyone loves a fresh start, check out my board here to give you that amazing spring feeling!

Purchase of the week | I was pottering around on my lunch hour the other day and wandered into Zara (this is a regular thing) and was so happy to find sale season was well and truly over, and I had walked into an array of spring shades against a perfect white backdrop. The item that caught my eye was this beautiful coat perfect to see you through those fresh spring mornings!

Paper Thin loves...& other stories

Monday, 24 February 2014

My friend Emily first got me hooked on & other stories a while back (she has impeccable taste and I completely trust her judgement) and since then I have been slowly watching the brand grow. Yes being part of the H&M group has helped, however, & other stories is without a doubt a brand in its own right and I love it! Like seriously love it!

So this weekend I popped into the store on Regents Street, and I don't know where to start. In fact I do, bags! There is not a single bag I wouldn't want to own from the S/S 2014 collection, they are all perfection. As expected the clothes are playful and well structured (I purchased the pink knit below and it is amazing!). Accessories are unique with a great price point, and the underwear consists of a pretty range of triangle bras in an array of colours.

Finally I love that & other stories is occupying a space in the high street that has been missing for a while now, exclusivity to some extent, without the massive price tag! It really is my go to high street shop.

Weekend

Saturday, 22 February 2014

As most of you are aware I live in London, and that means a whole lot of walking and tube usage! So I always ensure during the day I have an outfit that looks great but can get me from A - B. Jeans, statement sweatshirts, flats and an amazing bag is what is needed.

I am in love with the Hemsley London range, the bags look great and have a built in iPad viewer. The bags are made with the blogger in mind for sure. I have featured the Common Projects slip ons previously but they really are one of my favourite items at the moment. A complete investment piece to see you through the whole of S/S 2014.

Topshop Jamie jeans are my got to high street jeans, and the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi sweatshirt is on my dream list, I am in love.

LFW | Tuesday

Wednesday, 19 February 2014

Clashing prints are a favourite of mine, done well it is a look that makes you stand out in the right way, and on the final day of LFW Tata Naka did it so well. The collection was print heaven, from amazing bomber jackets, to sophisticated pencil skirt and a multicoloured take on the classic trench which made me forget all about beige!

Anya Hindmarch was quirky and amazing as ever, the collection was so much fun, and you may never have thought about owning a custard cream clutch before but for some reason I know can't imagine the world without one!

LFW | Monday

Wednesday, 19 February 2014

Monday at LFW was a dream for me. Christopher Kane I wanted it all, especially the knitwear and this amazing two piece below. Erdem is the label I aspire to own, the detail is amazing and this collection was pure opulence. Burberry Prorsum, the lace, the scarves, the coats. It was layers with a whole lot of attitude (did you see the heels?!). It was the show that everyone was at and for good reason. Tom Ford is a label I love, it is what women should wear, sexy, sophisticated, cut to perfection and Julianne Moore is his muse, I am not sure you can top that!

LFW | Sunday | Paul Smith

Wednesday, 19 February 2014

I love Paul Smith, it is that simple. There are days when I want to have a mannishness about me, I want to wear perfectly tailored trousers, am amazing knit and a power coat that pulls the whole look together, making me feel like a sexy tomboy.

Paul Smith is the label every girl should own, because sometimes you want look like a boy!

LFW | Saturday

Wednesday, 19 February 2014

Saturday at LFW was all about designers that feature regularly on Paper Thin.

Antipodium and House of Holland provided the quirk for the day, both showcasing amazing shoes, alongside bold, off palette colours.

To counterbalance that was JW Anderson and Joseph, where structure and cut ruled the day. Both produced strong looks, with volume and texture playing a key role.

I have to admit Joseph was the stand out for me, the knitwear and coats were amazing. So much so they almost had me wishing Spring wasn't on its way...almost!

LFW | Friday | Bora Aksu

Wednesday, 19 February 2014

Friday at LFW was all about one designer for me, and that was Bora Aksu. The inspiration behind the collection was his mother, her time at boarding school and her teenage years. The show was amazing. I loved every piece. Teasing us with volume, making pretty look risky and above all I wanted to wear it all, this to me is always a sign of the perfect collection.

Game. Set. Match

I am in L.O.V.E with this grey co-ordinate set from Warehouse, it is perfect for spring and the cut is great. It is top of my pay day wish list, with nothing else coming close! I have styled it with this amazing Alexander Wang t-shirt, McQ flats and this stand out statement necklace from Zara.

Bring on spring!

Ink

Sunday, 16 February 2014

Some people like to eat chocolate when they have had a rubbish day, others like to go for a run to clear their heads. I like to buy shoes, and these ink blue Topshop ones are my most recent purchase. The heel is huge, the ink blue pops perfectly against the black background, and the barely there ankle strap makes my legs look super long, what more could a girl want?
