LFW | Monday

Monday at LFW was a dream for me. Christopher Kane I wanted it all, especially the knitwear and this amazing two piece below. Erdem is the label I aspire to own, the detail is amazing and this collection was pure opulence. Burberry Prorsum, the lace, the scarves, the coats. It was layers with a whole lot of attitude (did you see the heels?!). It was the show that everyone was at and for good reason. Tom Ford is a label I love, it is what women should wear, sexy, sophisticated, cut to perfection and Julianne Moore is his muse, I am not sure you can top that!

Show a girl some blooms!

With Spring comes a whole new world of florals and I am all for this. From large, lush blooms on sensual fabrics to modern graphic prints on structured scuba tees, there is something that can work for every style. Don't be afraid to clash if it works but keep the silhouette simple and let the prints do the talking!

As you will know from previous posts (see here) I am a Christopher Kane fan, and although I would have loved to showcase the floral feather-appliqué cashmere sweater which is at the very top of my never going to happen wish list hehe, I thought I would show the more everyday aspect of the label.

This cashmere open back sweater is amazing and is probably the most classic piece in the A/W 13 collection, I love it. You can wear styled below with jeans (Christopher Kane of course) and some killer heels or really go to town and team it with the animal-print goat and leather skirt, which is another favourite of mine.

If you read my blog regularly you will know that I am not a girl to shy away from colour, and when I saw this Christopher Kane dress I feel in love! It is perfect for everything, I have styled it up here with barely there heels and an amazing bomber jacket, however it could just as easily be styled down with an oversized sweatshirt and some pumps.

Part of my fall focus is to try to buy items that are versatile, and with my imminent move to London, a reduced wardrobe is a must!!
