I have been living in this Miss Selfridge shirt of late, and it was a sale purchase so all the better. I have styled it with my customised (aka overly worn/battered) Leigh Topshop jeans and my River Island ankle boots that are the comfiest thing ever and are perfect for days out in London.

I also need to add that the varnish is from the gel colour range by Seventeen in Azure Amore and is so perfect for Spring!

Nude Monday?

Mondays can be pretty dull, they are normally a hard slog after the weekend and to be honest tend to be a dressed down day for me (allowing my feet to recover from the weekend heels!) However I have been thinking I should buck the trend and start treating Monday as a new start to each week and making the most of it.

With that in mind enjoy some Monday outfit inspiration, I love the coat and I am seriously thinking if adding it to my winter wardrobe, bravo Warehouse. The knit is gorgeous and is super cosy (I have been eyeing it up for a while in my local Oasis he he). I love these jeans from Frame Denim, and I have been living in boyfriend jeans of late so these are perfect. To finish everything off nude accessories and there we go Monday just got style serious.

I Marant it all!

Today was the day that the Isabel Marant x H&M hit stores, and try as I did I didn't secure a single piece. However I still thought I would share with you a couple of my favourite pieces and I hope that some of you were luckier than me!

The boots are my favourite thing in the whole collection, alongside the fitted gold dress which I was desparate to get for the party season.

In classic Marant style I have kept the look simple, perfect for wearing what ever you are doing.

Singing in the rain.

OK so I am not quite singing more like running in the rain, but you sometimes have to work with the lyric! For those of you who read my blog and are based in the UK, you will all feel my pain when it come to dismal wet weather, and understand when I say sometimes you need to have a little practicality in your wardrobe. So I have pulled together the perfect day-to-day outfit for running around in the showers.

However if the sun did come out I would throw off the chucks and raincoat and pull on these (click here) gorgeous Giuseppe Zanotti suede knee high boots, I am in love but they are not really weather practical but that hasn't ever stopped me before!!

Are you checking me out?

Like all of you I am searching for the perfect winter coat. I normally buy more than one winter coat if I am honest, and this year will probably be no different, but the coat going to the top of my list is this great pale check coat from Topshop. I love the style and the length, it is something you can throw on with basics and it looks put together, and that definitely appeals to me.

I have kept the outfit simple as this is really something I would wear day-to-day, and I have to give Miss Selfridge credit with their shirt selection of late it has really stepped up a gear.

As you might remember I have already featured these Zara flats in the alternative colour way (see here) but as I have said previously they are a great price point so a girl can afford to own them in both colour ways.

The hat is Isabel Marant and I just love it. Then the bag is 3.1 Philip Lim and I am all about the structure and the zips, it gives the whole look an edge which I think works perfectly.

Sunday girl.

So the end of the weekend is almost here however I always like to make the most of my Sunday. Tonight is date night and I am currently living in boyfriend jeans with great knits. The Victoria Beckham ones below are an amazing purchase from The Outnet and Whistles are out doing themselves with knitwear this season.

I have added an oversized boyfriend coat in this season's colour, as well as these great flats from Zara which at under £25 are heading straight onto my payday purchase list!

Sugar Kane

As you will know from previous posts (see here) I am a Christopher Kane fan, and although I would have loved to showcase the floral feather-appliqué cashmere sweater which is at the very top of my never going to happen wish list hehe, I thought I would show the more everyday aspect of the label.

This cashmere open back sweater is amazing and is probably the most classic piece in the A/W 13 collection, I love it. You can wear styled below with jeans (Christopher Kane of course) and some killer heels or really go to town and team it with the animal-print goat and leather skirt, which is another favourite of mine.

Grey Lux

I love grey, it is one of my favourite colours to wear and it always looks so elegant without really having to try. Great for a daytime look. It also means that you can add a more garish accessory without it looking too brash, below I went with the Victoria Beckham yellow tote. Pricey but amazing so I couldn't resist.

These R13 distressed jeans are perfect to ensure that the outfit doesn't look too put together, and I am really loving River Island's knitwear collection this season so far this chunky knit is amazing and they have some super great coordinating knitwear which I will be purchasing!!

Who's that boy/girl?

For those of you who regularly read my blog you will know I am a fan of a masculine look with a girly edge, and today's post does not buck that trend. I am really impressed with Mango's masculine edge this season and these platform moccasins are an amazing! Paired with their oversized Prince of Wales coat, my go to skinny jeans and the perfect wardrobe staple shirt from Miss Selfridge it creates a great masculine look.

Adding the bright pink Matthew Williamson knit and the bejewelled headband gives the look a girly edge. Perfect for the new season ahead.

Off duty

I like to make sure that I am comfy on my days off and Acne is a label that does off duty really well. The simplicity of this denim shirt has put it straight to the top of my lust list. Teamed with the jumper and the mom jeans which I would wear rolled up, showing off my ankle socks, this look is perfect for running errands on a busy weekend. I also love to mix my denim up, and never shy away from double denim. Finally the Burberry bag tops off the look, and if that is a little out of your price range (I am sure that applies to most of us) the ASOS rucksack I featured on an earlier post would be a great substitute. I am really loving the bag collection at ASOS at the moment, and this clutch is no exception. It looks amazing and really brings this outfit together.

My favourite jeans.

So jeans are pretty much a staple in every girl's wardrobe and mine is no different. I am totally addicted to Topshop Leigh jeans and have them in more colours than I can count, they fit perfectly. Everything that Spring brings ...

Besides today being rain soaked and dismal, Spring is here (and dare I say it Summer isn't far behind). As the weather heats up and we start to remove the winter layers I for one am welcoming the boyfriend jean.
